Purpose
The Cancel parcel terminates database output for the request, or cancels segments of request data previously sent.
Usage Notes
The parcel is generated by CLIv2 at the direction of the application.
When used to terminate database output, this parcel deletes spool files that contain the results of a Teradata request. The response is an End Request parcel.
When used to cancel segments of a request, this parcel deletes segments that were previously received by the database. The response is a Failure parcel. This use of the parcel is described in Teradata® Call-Level Interface Version 2 Reference for Mainframe-Attached Systems, B035-2417.
