For the purpose of this example, assume the following things:

  • A system with 8 CPs, 8 SPs and 100 AMPs
  • 5 FastLoads running using 100 sessions
  • 5 BulkLoads running using 100 sessions
  • Each FastLoad or BulkLoad request is 32K (this produces approximately 33 992 byte cells, for a total of 31 Mbytes)
  • System is running with the default initial cell values, resulting in a TDP0021 message indicating exhaustion of 992 byte cells or a TDP0202 message indicating exhaustion of XMS cells.
  • 10% of the sessions have requests in transit through TDP simultaneously at any given moment.
