Purpose
Displays the status of TDP System Management Facility (SMF) recording. It displays whether SMF recording is enabled or disabled and (if necessary) the status of individual SMF record subtypes.
In VOS3, applies to SMS records.
Syntax
The DI and DIS abbreviations are deprecated.
Usage Notes
SMF recording can be enabled or disabled for all SMF subtype records or for selected records. If SMF recording is disabled for only some records, the DISPLAY SMF command shows which records have that status. There are eight record subtypes:
Record Subtype | Description |
---|---|
1 | Database session termination record |
2 | Database session security violation record |
3 | CP activity data record |
4 | TDP global statistics record (written at time of TDP SHUTDOWN) |
5 | (deprecated by subtype 6) |
6 | Structure-protocol termination record |
7 | NP Activity record |
8 | Encapsulation-protocol termination record |
