The configuration to integrate Teradata Vantage with customer’s AWS Lake Formation is a shared responsibility model where the customer is responsible for setting up roles and policies on their AWS cloud environment with some additional information specific to Vantage Cloud system.
To initiate the configuration of Lake Formation on the customer's AWS cloud side, the following information regarding the AWS VantageCloud Lake tenant must be provided to the customer:
- The AWS Account ID of the VantageCloud Lake tenant.
- The Primary Cluster and Compute Cluster IAM role names created for the VantageCloud Lake tenant.
