The performance of the Java OTF solution is comparable to other Java based OTF engines such as Spark and the performance benchmark comparisons done for Java OTF have been against Spark and not against native offerings from other engines. The guidelines in this document are provided to tune performance based on the dataset and to bring the performance as close as possible to other Java-based OTF engines.
