The OTF engine operates within a configured memory range designed to handle a specific number of concurrent queries. Increasing the concurrent query limit without adjusting the JVM memory allocation could result in queries failing due to out of memory errors. Hence, it is important to have a TASM ruleset that can limit the number of OTF queries run in parallel. This can be achieved by creating a workload management ruleset to throttle queries based on these OTF Iceberg functions.
