  • 16.20 and later: IBM XL C/C++ for AIX, V12.1 (xlc/xlC frontend)
For AIX, objects built with xlC frontend are not binary compatible with objects built with xlclang++ frontend. Since 17.10 TPTAPI library is built with xlclang++, the existing TPTAPI applications built with xlC may not work with it.
