Custom functions can also be created that are explicitly connected to UDTs; these are known as User-Defined Methods (UDMs).

For use with PP2, create the UDMs from files on the server. The CREATE METHOD statement must indicate that the files containing the definitions of the methods are located on the server. Creating UDMs from files located on the client is not supported.
