Compatibility Considerations
The following considerations apply to the QueryGrid compatibility matrix:
- All components are only supported on x86-64 platforms.
- PowerPC platforms are not supported by any components.
- Before using this document for QueryGrid deployments on Teradata VantageCloud, contact Teradata to verify the version of QueryGrid available in your cloud deployment.
- For minimum Viewpoint requirements for a specific QueryGrid feature or capability, refer to the Teradata® QueryGrid™ Release Definition, B035-5992 for the version of QueryGrid in your environment.

- QueryGrid 3.0 and later require the C++ standard library that supports ABI version 1.3.9 (such as libstd > = 6.0.21) on the fabric and driver nodes. GNU Compiler Collection (GCC) 7.5.0 or later is recommended for obtaining the required minimum version of ABI.
- Use the latest available version of Java 8 or Java 11.
- Certified with OpenJDK 8 and OpenJDK 11.
- Check with your OS vendor for supportability prior to installing any unsupported C++ libraries on your nodes.
