The initialization string for the Teradata Access Module for OLE DB consists of a single specification of the operating mode for the access module; however, to launch the Teradata Access Module for OLE DB, the initialization string for BTEQ and the load and export utilities must be empty (""). (If the initialization string contains prompt, the script fails.) For the specific commands and command options for each supported Teradata utility, see Access Module Calls.

The following table lists the client utility commands for specifying an access module.
