- To switch from test to production data sets in the JCL procedures, edit your jobs to use the high-level qualifier of the test data sets.The test data sets run as the new production data sets. The batch procedures supplied on the release media are listed in Customizing Teradata Tools and Utilities Software.You may have existing JCL procedures at your site in addition to those supplied on the release media. The existing procedures must also be updated each time a new Teradata software release is installed, which may not be the most desirable method for moving your test system to production.
