When you install the CICS Interface, for security purposes you should restrict access to the following Teradata-supplied transactions to CICS System Operators. The CICS security facilities can be used to restrict the transaction access.
  • DAFC
  • DENA
  • DISA
  • DLGF
  • DMEM
  • DRCN
  • DSCN

For CICS/MVS 2.1 and earlier, to successfully execute DENA and DISA transactions under CEDF, you might need to customize the Resource Security Level value for the HSILGFXT program in the CSD. By default, CEDF performs resource-level security checks. Thus, access to HSILGFXT is not allowed if its definition specifies RSL=0 (the default). This results in a NOTAUTH condition.
