To install a maintenance upgrade, modify and submit the APPMNT member to APPLY the maintenance (PTF) releases to the existing system.
Before installing a maintenance upgrade, Teradata recommends performing the SMP/E ACCEPT process for the following:
- The base function and any dependent functions (using ACCBASE)
- Any maintenance upgrades between the base function and the maintenance release you had installed (using ACCMNT).
