To specify pre-defined connections with JupyterLab running on the desktop:

  1. Update the template file with your connection information. Refer to Pre-defined Connection Configuration.
  2. Set the TD_CONFIG environment variable to the full path of the file.
  3. Start JupyterLab on the desktop.
If any error occurs or file access fails, the information logs to the Teradata/Log/kernel.log file in the Jupyter workspace, and the pre-configuration information is ignored.
To disable the processing of the configuration file with the start of JupyterLab, do not set the value of the TD_CONFIG environment variable.
