During a Teradata Viewpoint upgrade, modifications may be made to PostgreSQL database tables and data. The modifications are to make sure the database is synchronized with the version of the software you are upgrading.
  1. When installing Teradata Viewpoint, read the reports from TDPut to make sure the upgrade was successful.
  2. If there are errors, contact your Customer Support Representative.
  3. After you resolve the problem, run the TDPut operation again.
This makes sure the software and PostgreSQL database are successfully upgraded.
