You can select and hide alerts from the Viewpoint Dashboard Alerts view.
  • To hide only one alert, do the following:
    Option Description
    From the Alert Details by Severity view
    1. Click in the row of the alert you want to hide.
    2. Select Hide Alert.

    The alert no longer appears in the view.

    From the Alert Details by Severity view
    1. Click in the table header to open the Table Actions list.
    2. Select Hide Alerts.
    3. Select the check box in the row of the alert you want to hide.
    4. Click Save.

    The alert no longer appears in the view.

    From the Alert Details by Alert Name view
    1. Click next to the alert name.
    2. Select Hide Alert.

    The colored severity indicator square appears unfilled to indicate that the alert is hidden. The alert no longer appears in the Alert Details by Severity view.

  • To hide one or more alerts, do the following:
    1. From the Alert Details by Severity view, click in the table header to open the Table Actions list.
    2. Select Hide Alerts.
    3. Select the check boxes in the rows of the alerts you want to hide.
    4. Click Save.
      The alerts no longer appear in the Alert Details by Severity view.
