Creates a filter rule without any qualification criteria in one or all existing rule sets.

Syntax

REPLACE PROCEDURE TDWM.TDWMCreateFilter (
  IN RulesetName TD_ANYTYPE,
  IN FilterName TD_ANYTYPE,
  IN Description TD_ANYTYPE,
  IN Attributes VARCHAR(20) CHARACTER SET LATIN,
  IN ReplaceOption CHAR(1) CHARACTER SET LATIN)

Syntax Elements

RulesetName
Name of the ruleset in which the filter will be created. Use 'ALLRULESETS' to create the filter in all existing rulesets.
FilterName
Name of the filter to be created. The name specified must be unique among all existing TASM rules (throttles, arrival rate meters, workloads, filters, and so on). It cannot be null. The length must be between 1 and 30.
Description
Description of the filter.
Attributes
  • L = Logging Only (Warning) mode. Only log a warning instead of reject.
  • NULL or blank = Reject if qualified.
ReplaceOption
  • Y = Delete the specified filter rule and recreate it. If the specified filter rule does not exist, an error is returned.
  • N = Create a new filter rule. If the specified filter rule already exists, an error is returned.
