Teradata Vantage™ - Database Administration covers the basics of database administration, giving you the essential tasks and the procedures for doing them. Sections in this document are either designed for all DBAs or split tasks into two major groupings indicated in the section title: those for application DBAs, who are concerned with the design and performance of queries, and administrative DBAs, who are responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Teradata Vantage™ system.
