Unicode is a 16-bit encoding of almost all characters in all current languages in the world. The UNICODE server character set used by Vantage supports Unicode 4.1.
You can use UNICODE to store all characters from all single-byte and multibyte client character sets. User data stored as UNICODE can be shared among heterogeneous clients.
