Vantage uses Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) storage technology to protect data at the disk level. You use the RAID management software to group disk drives into RAID LUNS (Logical Units) to make sure data is available in the event of a disk failure. Redundant means data, functions, or components are duplicated in the architecture of the array.
