External authentication allows Vantage users to be authenticated by an agent running on the same network as Vantage and its clients.

Vantage supports the following external authentication logon types:

Single sign-on Authentication in client domain. User credentials need not be resubmitted to Vantage.

Directory sign-on Authentication by directory.
