This function takes as input an independent multivariate series source that is referenced using a SERIES_SPEC, or an ART table containing a ARTFITRESIDUALS layer which was generated by another UAF function. The source contains individual instances of a multivariate series or an ART with the residual layer from a previously-run regression operation.
