This function accepts a single input source containing either univariate series instances or multivariate series instances. The input source can have an associated payload content type of REAL (univariate series) or MULTIVAR_REAL (multivariate series).
The maximum supported number of entries (size) for the multivariate series input is less than the maximum supported size for the multivariate series. A SQL error is returned if the size limits are exceeded. A multivariate series that exceeds the size limitations can be re-entered as a collection of individual single-field queries.
