| Database Initialization Program (DIP) | Runs one or more of the standard DIP scripts packaged with Analytics Database. These scripts create database objects that extend functionality of Analytics Database. |
| DBS Control (dbscontrol) | Displays and lets you change DBS Control fields. |
| Dump Unload/Load (DUL) | Saves and restores system dump tables to and from files. |
| Ferret Utility (ferret) | Defines scope of an action (range of tables or selected vprocs), displays parameters and scope of action, and performs action, either moving data to reconfigure data blocks and cylinders or displaying disk space and cylinder free space percent in use in defined scope. |
| Gateway Control (gtwcontrol) | Changes default values in fields of Gateway Control Globally Distributed Object (GDO). |
| Gateway Global (gtwglobal) | Monitors and controls Analytics Database workstation-connected users and their sessions. |
| Lock Display (lokdisp) | Displays snapshot of real-time database locks and their associated running sessions. |
| Query Configuration (qryconfig) | Displays Analytics Database configuration, including the Node, AMP, and PE identification and status. |
| Query Session (qrysessn) | Monitors state of selected Analytics Database sessions on selected logical host IDs. |
| Recovery Manager (rcvmanager) | Displays information for monitoring progress of a Analytics Database recovery. |

| Table Rebuild (rebuild) | Rebuilds tables that Analytics Database cannot automatically recover, including primary or fallback portions of tables, entire tables, all tables in database, or all tables in Access Module Processor (AMP). You can run Table Rebuild interactively or in background. |
| Teradata Locale Definition Utility(tdlocaledef) | Converts Specification for Data Formatting file (SDF) into internal, binary format (GDO) for Analytics Database. SDF file is text file that defines how Analytics Database formats numeric, date, time, and currency output. |
| Tpareset (tpareset) | Resets PDE and database components of Analytics Database. |
| Update DBC (updatedbc) | Recalculates PermSpace and SpoolSpace values in DBASE table for user DBC and MaxPermSpace and MaxSpoolSpace values of DATABASESPACE table for all databases based on values in DBASE table. |
| Update Space (updatespace) | Recalculates permanent, temporary, or spool space used by single database or all databases in system. |
| Vproc Manager (vprocmanager) | Manages virtual processors (vprocs). For example, returns status of specified vprocs, initializes vprocs, forces a vproc to restart, and forces a Analytics Database restart. |
