Vantage allows you to submit requests using Japanese character data containing Kanji, Katakana, Hiragana, Romaji, and various other characters.
| Characters | Description |

| Kanji | An ideographic script. |
| Katakana | A syllabic script used for foreign words. |
| Hiragana | A syllabic script that can be mapped one-for-one with Katakana. Hiragana is used for Japanese articles and words that do not have Kanji forms. |
| Romaji | The Japanese name for the standard Roman (Latin) alphabet. |
