Drops a specified profile.

ANSI Compliance

This statement is a Teradata extension to the ANSI SQL:2011 standard.

Required Privileges

The following users can drop a profile.
  • User DBC.
  • A user who has the DROP PROFILE privilege.

The profile creator does not have the implicit privilege to drop a profile. A profile creator who does not have the DROP PROFILE privilege cannot drop the profile.
