Database HUT Locks (Archive or Recovery) are released as soon as the DSA job is completed or aborted. If there are any left over Database HUT locks after the job run, then use the object_release command to release them.
If a failure, time out, abort, rollback, logoff, or system restart occurs, rollback of the work already performed by the transaction may delay releasing locks and the availability of the locked objects.
In ANSI session mode, the Lock Manager does not release locks placed for a rolled back request.
