Use the list_files() function to list all files installed in Vantage.

Example: Install the file mapper.py found at the relative path and then list the installed file

Run the install_file example before listing the installed files.

The file can be on the client or remote server. "mapper.py" must be present on client for the following example to run. Provide the path of "mapper.py" in the "file_path" argument.

  • Create the "mapper.py" file:
    #!/usr/bin/python
    import sys
    for line in sys.stdin:
        line = line.strip()
        words = line.split()
        for word in words:
            print ('%s\t%s' % (word, 1))
  • Install the file:
    >>> install_file (file_identifier='mapper', file_path='data/scripts/mapper.py')
    File mapper.py installed in Vantage
  • List the files:
    >>> list_files()
          Files
    0 mapper.py
