get_formatters() | Teradata Package for Python - get_formatters() - Teradata Package for Python

Use the get_formatters() function to get the formatters for NUMERIC, DATE and CHAR types.

Optional Parameter

formatter_type

Specifies the category of formatter to format data.

Default value: None

Permitted values:

• "NUMERIC" - Formatters to convert given data to a numeric type.
• "DATE" - Formatters to convert given data to a date type.
• "CHAR" - Formatters to convert given data to a character type.

Example: Get the formatters for the NUMERIC type

>>> from teradataml.dataframe.functions import get_formatters
>>> get_formatters("NUMERIC")
