To determine whether a Chinese character is valid in an object name:
- Find the text file that maps the character set to UNICODE.You can find the file here:
- Access Teradata Vantage™ - Analytics Database International Character Set Support, B035-1125 at https://docs.teradata.com/.
- In the left pane, select Attachments to download the International_Character_Set_Text_Files zip file.
- In the text file, find the Unicode character to which the client character in question maps.
- Find the file that identifies valid Unicode characters, UOBJNEXT.txt.You can download the file here:
- Access Teradata Vantage™ - Analytics Database International Character Set Support, B035-1125 at https://docs.teradata.com/.
- In the left pane, select Attachments to download the International_Character_Set_Text_Files zip file.
- If the Unicode character appears in the file that is applicable to your system, you can use the client character that maps to it in an object name.
