PM/APIs and open APIs (also called SQL interfaces) provide CLIV2 and SQL functions to access workload management and system information. Performance Monitor and Production Control (PMPC) data is collected internally and used to monitor workload management events. Several Viewpoint portlets use PM/APIs to monitor system activity.
