Requests need AMP worker tasks. If all of the AMP worker tasks on an AMP are in use, high-priority requests might have to wait for low-priority requests to release their AMP worker tasks. To protect high-priority requests from this scenario, in the Workload Designer portlet, use the Reserved AWTs option, located in the Limits/Reserves tab within the General view. Reserved AMP worker tasks can boost the following types of expedited requests on a busy system:
- Tactical tier
- SLG Tier 1, workloads with the Enable SLG Expedite option selected
