ModelOps provides multiple environments where you can deploy your models in production. You can monitor each deployment and re-evaluate or retire it based on its performance.
  1. From the Model Version Lifecycle page, select Deploy.

    The Deploy Model Version dialog displays.

  2. In the Select Engine tab, set the following properties, and then select Next.

    Property Description
    Engine Type Specifies the engine type for deployment:
    • In-Vantag
    • Docker
    • For In-Vantage engine type, no other properties needs to be set.
    • For Docker engine type, set the following additional property:

      Deployment Mode Specifies the deployment mode for docker deployment:
      • RESTful
      • Batch
  3. In the Publish tab, set the following properties, and then select Next:

    • For In-Vantage engine type:
      Property Description
      Connection Selects the dataset connection to use when publishing model
      Database Specifies the database name used to select the table for the deployment job
      Table Selects the database table from the dropdown list for the deployment job
      Advanced options Engine Name Selects the Engine name from dropdown for the deployment job
      Docker Image Selects the Docker image from dropdown for the deployment job
    • For Docker Batch engine type/deployment modes:
      Property Description
      Dataset Template Selects the required dataset template for the deployment job
      Connection Selects the dataset connection settings for the deployment job
    • For Docker RESTful engine type/deployment modes, no basic properties are required.
      Expand the ADVANCED OPTIONS section to set the properties:
      Property Description
      Engine Name Specifies the engine for the deployment job.
      Docker Image Specifies the docker image for the deployment job.
      Advanced options are the same across all engine types / deployment modes.
  4. In the Schedule tab, set the following properties:

    • For In-Vantage engine type:
      Property Description
      Enable scheduling Selects the checkbox to enable scheduling.
      Dataset Template Specifies the required dataset template for the deployment job.
      Scheduling options Specifies scheduling options to run scoring job after time interval.

      Radio button to choose one of the following: Time scheduler, Cron, Run Once, and Manual.

      Dropdown menu to choose if the schedule be Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly.

      Dropdown menu to set hours and mins.

      Advanced options Resource Template Select Resource Template from the dropdown list: S Standard, M Medium, L Large or Custom.

      With Custom selection, there is additional option to provide GPU resource.

      Build properties You have the option to provide key value pairs for it.
    • For Docker Batch engine type / deployment mode:
      Property Description
      Schedule Defines an execution schedule for the batch job. The schedule can be Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly.
      Cron Specifies a cron expression directly as input.
      Run Once Allows the batch job to be run once only.
      On Demand Allows the batch job to be run when required.
    • For Docker RESTful engine type / deployment mode:
      Property Description
      Replicas Specifies the number of container replicas to be deployed.
      Expand the ADVANCED OPTIONS section to set the properties:

      Resource Template Specifies one of the predefined resource templates or enter custom values for: memory, cpu, gpu
      Build Properties Defines build properties as key/value pairs.
      Advanced options are the same across all engine types / deployment modes.
  5. Select Deploy.
  6. Select Done when the deployment progress completes.

    The model version status changes to Deployed. The Deployment Details section displays on the page.

    The following details display in the Deployment Details section:

    Property Description
    Job ID Specifies the deployment job ID. You can Selectsss View Job Details to see the event details of the job. For details, see Jobs.
    Deployment Date Specifies the deployment date.
    Deployed By Specifies the username who executed the deployment job.
    Status Shows the status of the deployed job as Completed
    Engine Specifies the deployment engine.
    Job Progress Lists down all phases of the deployment job. The job progress information includes:
    • Status: Status of each phase as Created, Completed
    • Start Date/Time: Start date and time for each phase
    • End Date/Time: End date and time for each phase
    • Duration: Duration of each phase
