Only admin users can create projects.
As part of creating a new project, you can optionally add a new personal connection to a new project. You can also add a service connection for use with deployments.
- Select Projects from the Navigation bar.
The Projects page displays.
- Select Create Project.
- In the Details step, set the properties:
Property Description Name Specify the project name. Description Specify the description of the project. Group Specify the project groups, which allows you to add a project under specified project groups. The default project group is DEMO.
Repository Specify the link to the Git repository for the project. Credentials Specify Git credentials for the given project repository. Possible values are: No Credentials, Use Default Credentials, Use Project Credentials.
If you select Use Default Credentials or Use Project Credentials, enter the Username and Password.
Branch Specify the branch of Git repository for the project. - Select Test GIT connection to test the repository connection.
- Do any of the following:
To Do this Skip optional steps to add connections Select Save &exit from the drop-down. The sidesheet closes and the new project is listed.
Add a new personal connection for use as the default connection - Select Save & continue.
- Select Add personal connection.
- Complete the fields. See Adding a Connection for descriptions.
- Select Save.
The sidesheet closes and returns to the Create project sidesheet. The personal connection you created is visible in the drop-down.
- Select Next.
- Select Next to advance to the service connection view.
- To create a service connection, select Next and complete the steps that follow to add a service connection.
- To complete the creation of this project, select Save.
The sidesheet closes and the new project is listed.
Add a service connection - Select Next on the Personal connection tab.
- Select Add service connection.
- Complete the fields. See Adding a Connection for descriptions.
- Select Save to save the service connection information.
- Select Save.
The sidesheet closes and the new project is listed.
