8265 A character string inserted into dictionary table DBC.%TVMID after conversion to Unicode resulted in a prime key uniqueness violation.

Explanation:

This error is returned during a restore, or copy, when the dictionary column converted to Unicode is part of the table's prime key and resulted in a duplicate prime key for the row (see error 2801 for details). On a Japanese language support system this could result from object names with the same logical multibyte Kanji characters created under different Kanji character sets (e.g., KanjiEBCDIC and KanjiSJIS). The column will be temporarily assigned the following string containing a hexadecimal character literal of the first 30 bytes in the source string causing the error: '?? - Duplicate Key for: [hex_character_literal]'

Remedy:

The user will need to replace the duplicate key data with a unique value by renaming the database object encountering the error. The Archive utility can rename a table or database with the Copy 'from' clause.
