Vantage instances are backed up daily. By default, backups are retained for two days and include two generations of backup retention. Through the Service Portal, customers can request backing up data on a weekly or monthly basis, rather than daily, and suspend backups indefinitely.
For an additional fee, customers can purchase custom backup and restore services (for example, archiving and retaining a specific data object for an agreed period of time) at the time of initial agreement, in a subsequent agreement addendum, or by change request.
