You can disconnect from a utility and database.
  1. On the toolbar, click Disconnect.
    A confirmation message appears.

If you select Disconnect, the input line no longer accepts input and the portlet no longer responds to commands.

The Teradata Database connection closes when you remove the portlet from the portal page or click Disconnect. If you close the browser without clicking Disconnect, the Teradata Database connection times out in 30 minutes.
