Initializing DBCAREA
After it is allocated, the DBCAREA must be initialized before a call to CLIv2 requesting CLIv2 services can be attempted. The application initializes the DBCAREA by putting the total length of the DBCAREA into the DBCAREA Total Length field of the structure and calling DBCHINI (see Chapter 6: “Common Routines” for a description of the call to DBCHINI).
