This procedure only applies to a managed storage server recovery. Your field consultant configures Teradata Database.
- In PUT, log on to the BAR server using root/root.
- Select Configure Teradata.
- In Network Subnet Selection, select 127.0.0.0 (LOOPBACK) and click Next.
- In the Configuration Mode screen, accept Typical for the configuration mode and click Next.
- In Set Configuration Defaults, choose platform family as 500/600 series (SMP configuration) and accept default values.
- In Network Subnet Selection, select 127.0.0.0 (LOOPBACK) and click Next.
- In Select nodes, verify that Localhost(LINUX) is in the selected list.
- In Start Database Option, select Start the database.
