This procedure only applies to a managed storage server recovery. Your field consultant configures Teradata Database.

  1. In PUT, log on to the BAR server using root/root.
  2. Select Configure Teradata.
  3. In Network Subnet Selection, select 127.0.0.0 (LOOPBACK) and click Next.
  4. In the Configuration Mode screen, accept Typical for the configuration mode and click Next.
  5. In Set Configuration Defaults, choose platform family as 500/600 series (SMP configuration) and accept default values.
  6. In Network Subnet Selection, select 127.0.0.0 (LOOPBACK) and click Next.
  7. In Select nodes, verify that Localhost(LINUX) is in the selected list.
  8. In Start Database Option, select Start the database.
