Teradata provides a minimum four-month notice for major analytic engine version upgrades (major upgrades) for customers to test application compatibility and validate new versions. To minimize disruptions, Teradata works with customers to coordinate upgrade schedules and support migrations to new software versions. To schedule major upgrades, Teradata provides customers with three options. Teradata will assign a major upgrade maintenance window to customers that do not select from the provided scheduling options.
