Teradata performs service maintenance during maintenance windows. Teradata regularly updates the service to maintain the currency of infrastructure, security, patches, and maintenance releases in monthly service maintenance windows.
For flexibility, Teradata provides customers with three options for a recurring monthly maintenance window. Teradata will assign a maintenance window to customers that do not select a maintenance window from the provided scheduling options.
