To install the User Defined Functions (UDF’s) required by the Teradata Warehouse Miner In-Database Analytic Functions, you must execute the Install or Uninstall UDF's program item in the Teradata Warehouse Miner program group, selecting the Install TD_Analyze Udfs option and supplying the login information including Hostname, User ID, Password and Database into which to install the UDF’s.
The Install or Uninstall UDF’s program creates and installs the UDF's using the Teradata Client Utility Bteq which must be installed on the client system. Note that Bteq requires an appropriate entry in the Hosts file to connect properly.
