AP Reset Containment (APRC) is a user-transparent feature available on AP-based hardware configurations running application programs and Teradata utilities. An AP Reset Containment Configuration utility program, APRCConfig, provides the capability to enable or disable APRC through the console.
APRC is not applicable to SMP and MPP systems running the UNIX operating system.
