The nPath function matches specified patterns in a sequence of rows from one or more input tables and extracts information from the matched rows.
Typical nPath uses are:
- Categorizing entities based on observed patterns; for example, distinguishing "loyal customers" from "price-sensitive shoppers."
- Selecting relevant data from a data set and then inputting it to another function or a third-party data graph generator, such as the application that produced the following figure.
