The Teradata Notification Service for Linux can be installed using PUT. These instructions assume the reader is familiar with the PUT installation process, and the TDPut software is installed and available on the Linux server.
- Download the software from the Teradata Software Server, as explained in Downloading the Teradata Alerts Notification Software.
- Launch TDPut on the Linux server and install the tdnotification1620 package onto the server.
- After the installation, manually configure the software with the location of the Viewpoint server.
