CLI is the interface between an application and the Micro Teradata Director Program (MTDP). CLI does the following:
- Builds parcels that MTDP packages for sending to the Teradata Database using the Micro Operating System Interface (MOSI), and
- Provides the application with a pointer to each of the parcels returned from the Teradata Database.
MTDP is the interface between CLI and MOSI. MOSI is the interface to the Teradata Database.
