All users defined in Server Management are given a User role by default, and can be further assigned Administrator and/or Service User roles by an Administrator.

Creating the First User

The first user must be created when there are no users in the system. If logging in to SMWeb fails and a warning appears stating there are no users configured, you must log into the Web Client with the provisional username and password and create the initial user with Administrator and Service User roles. After creating the initial user, you will be logged out and no longer able to log in as the default user.
