Before removing power from a system, notify users and determine if any applications are running. If applications are running, terminate them. Data integrity cannot be ensured unless you shut down all applications before starting a power off.
  1. From the Tree View, select the system you want to shut down.
  2. Select Functions > Shut Down. A confirmation message appears.
  3. Click Yes. The nodes are powered off first, then the disk arrays are shut down. If any node fails to power off, the disk arrays will not shut down.
Only Dot Hill arrays support shut down.
