Compatibility

API_Request in-database function uses AWS CPP libraries from 1.9.x and later.

Minimum database version: 16.20. Requires SLES12SP3 on all TPA nodes.

Dependencies

API_Request in-database function depends on the following third-party components:
  • AWS CPP library (1.9.x and later), compatible with SLES OS (libaws-cpp-sdk-core.so, libaws-cpp-sdk-forecastquery.so, libaws-cpp-sdk-sagemaker-runtime.so).
  • libfastjson.so.4.0.0
    This file may already be installed on Teradata nodes for some other use cases.
These libraries are installed at /opt/teradata/api_request/lib on Teradata nodes. They do not interfere with existing libraries or other products.

SLES 12 SP3 or later is supported, SLES 11 is not supported.

The teradataml SageMaker extension library depends on following Python libraries:
  • Teradata Package for Python teradataml >= 17.00
  • Amazon SageMaker sagemaker >= 2.75.00
