Protegrity application on VantageCloud Lake offers User Defined Functions (UDF) that interact with Protegrity Data Protectors, providing essential functionalities such as data protection, unprotection, and tokenization. You can install the Protegrity application on your Lake environment simply from the VantageCloud Lake Console. This establishes a connection between your Lake environment and your Protegrity Enterprise Security Administrator (ESA) Server. Protegrity application automatically installs and manages the Protegrity Data Protectors and Log Forwarders on VantageCloud Lake Primary and Compute cluster nodes. You must have a valid license from Protegrity for your ESA server to experience seamless operation within your VantageCloud Lake environment. During the installation process, you have the option to specify the database in which you want to install the Protegrity UDFs. Teradata currently supports Protegrity integration with VantageCloud Lake on Amazon Web Services (AWS) only.
